Light Sculptures

Year

2024

It is a meditation on perception: what appears broken or incomplete may, in truth, be an opening. The void is not absence but potential — a reminder that consciousness is a landscape vaster than any horizon.

This work embodies the paradox of matter and vision. A fractured, molten-like metallic shell lies on the ground, its raw and chaotic form evoking the weight of the physical world. Yet within its rupture, instead of emptiness, emerges a luminous portal to another reality — a vast desert landscape beneath an infinite sky.

The contrast between the cold, industrial silver and the warm, expansive desert horizon transforms the sculpture into a liminal threshold: a collision between inner imagination and external materiality. The object becomes not merely a sculpture but a passage, suggesting that even in fragments of collapse, entire worlds can be revealed.

Code as ritual

This body of work treats photons as syntax. A custom model and rule-based engine parse latent from datasets of light phenomena and spatial archetypes, then render it as evolving chambers, halos, and thresholds. The result is an endless, non-repeating composition: light that organizes itself, remembers patterns, and forgets them in the next moment.
The videos present recorded passages of the live system—not pre-rendered loops—inviting the viewer to read light as code and code as ritual.
